Tracking Global Mean Sea Level
June 01, 2005

This is an example of the kind of product that can be found on the CCAR site.
Global mean sea level

The University of Colorado's Center for Astrodynamics Research (CCAR) has developed a new web site for the distribution of
TOPEX/Poseidon and Jason sea level products. It provides sea level data and publication-quality plots of both global and
regional mean sea level results for use in research and presentations. Also featured are tide gauge calibration/validation
results. The products are released roughly quarterly as new satellite data cycles become available. All products are
labeled with a release number in order to trace the products back to a particular set of calculations from their database.
This resource is being provided by CCAR to address the numerous requests they receive for plots and data.
