Earth's ocean is huge! This means it has all kinds of things to explore and learn. And what better way to learn than by having fun! Look here for some cool ocean facts and learn how satellites way above the ocean teach us what's going on down there. Have fun with an online coloring and activity book about the TOPEX/Poseidon satellite - the first satellite NASA launched to keep an eye on rising seas. You can even make a delicious and colorful dessert! - Colors in an "El Niño" pudding show us how the ocean surface is higher or lower depending on how warm or cold it is.

Teachers - Are you looking to incorporate the ocean science into your classroom? Ocean World's Teacher Workroom offers lesson plans, integrated technology lab stations, links to teaching materials, and more! Find all this and more in the links below. Each one is given an "Audience Rating" to help you can find just the material you're looking for.

Audience: T = Teacher materials, G = General public, Kids = grades K-8, Y = Young adults and grades 9-12, U = Undergrads, S = Scientists and Graduate students
